History

Kirnahar T.P.M Girls' High  Schoo,  the oldest and well-known H.S School of Nanoor Block, was established at Kirnahar in Birbhum in 1951 with the help of some educationist, well-wishers and social-workers of this localit. The land for the school was donated by Binoy Mozumdar, a kind -hearted resident of this localit.  At first, the school started with a few students in two small rooms.Later, the school has become a largest and renowned H.S Girls' School  of this sub- division for the conslant, whole-hearted co-operation and financial support of the local people.
