History

The school is recognized as a IV-Class junior school w.e.f. 01/01/1980 and upgraded & recognized as a X- class high school w.e.f. 01/05/2005 by the West Bengal Board Of Secondary Education its Memo No: 1532-SE(S)SE- 53/2004 dated 23/12/2005. At present it is a Govt. Sponsored Co- Educational High School (From Class V to X).

 Pundra High School located at Vill- Pundra, P.O.-Bandar, P.s.- Nanoor, Sub Div- Bolpur, Dist- Birbhumis one of the best school in the state of West Bengal. Persons interested in education of the locality estublished this school in the year 1972.
