History

                Ranibazar Vidyasagar Vidyapith (High School) is located at Ranibazar under P.S. Nanoor in Birbhum, West Bengal, India. The school was newly set up in 1995 by the recognition of W.B.B.S.E. It was recognised as a 4-class co-educational junior high school. The school is situated on twi bighas of land donated firstly by Sri Lakshminarayan Ghosh and Hutasan Mondal and later by Rakhohari Ghosh, Dayamoy Laha and Anandamoy Laha and Dr. C.K. Mondal respectively. The school is in the lap of nature surrounded by a vast greenary field and beside the school there is Bus route plying from Bolpur-Palitpur.

                When the school was in it's nascent stage, rather in its; inception there was no school building. The newly recruited teachers used to take classes in the building of village primary school in morning shift for few months. Later on four classrooms was constructed on the land donated by local people. The classrooms were build up with brickmade wall and the roof of the classroom was made by local people by bamboo and straw. After few month two classroom were build up by the assistance of Govt. Grant. Later on grant from different end poured into the school and thus the school became larger in shape and size under the supervision of the Organising Committee.

                 On the couse of it's development. a problem erupted while recruiting two teaching staff in the post of Bengali and Life Sciences due to the fileing of court case by the two staff of old non-existed organising school at Ranibazar. After some times the court case was dismissed and teachers were recruited through S.S.C.

                   The school was upgraded to a X-class High School by the W.B.B.S.E w.e.f January, 2015. The first Ix class was started with 15 students and the first batch of Madhyamik winessed 100 percent pass result.

                    Now our school owns two storied building with 12 classrooms, a well enriched library room donated by Dr. C.K..Mondal.
