The foundation of Rajarampur High School is the effective result of the strong will of some hearty well-wishers of three villages Babna, Bilrampr and Udha located in the Rajarampur mouja and its surrounding areas towards the end of 1970. To name few of them are as follows Late Tarashankar Mukherjee, Late Bidur Chandra Ghosh, Late Kashinath Roychowdhry, Late Harisadhan Pal, Sri Bijoy Kumar Mondal, Sri Nidhir Ghosh, Late Sisir Roychowdhry, Late Haranarayan Ghosh, Sri Khudiram Mondal, Sri Ashwini Garai, Sri Subhas Chandra Ghosh, Late Arun Chowdhury, Sri Nihar Ranjan Mukherjee and many anonymous persons. Freedom fighter late Bijoy Kumar Ghosh (who was one of the main convicted in the Birbhum conspiracy case and sentenced to cellular jail in Andaman Island) extended his generous help by donating the proposed valuable 2acre land on the outskirts of the Bikrampur village. Though Rajarampur High School started its journey on 1st January, 1971 as Junior High School (Upper Primary School), it got Govt. Recognition with class V & VI on 1st Janary, 1983 and Class VII & VIII in 1st January, 1984 with the construction School building of Four class rooms. Despite many hindrances the tireless efforts of well-wishers with indomitable spirit let to the development of the School. After twenty two years of first Govt. recognition, in 2005 the School was upgraded to Secondary level. Since then the development has not stopped for a while. In 2006 the School starts class IX admission and in 2008 first batch of students from our school successfully sit for the Madhyamik Examinantion. The century old 'NEEM BRIKSHA' present in the centre of the school campus is the witness of this Historical journey of this High School.
