History

Kabi Nazrul Sikshaniketan High School (H.S.) got recognition from class V to class VIII as Jr. High School (new set up) vide memo no: S/Recog/2000/567(1-5) dated 01.08.2000. The school was granted formal recognition for a period of 3 years as a 4 class Jr. High School vide memo no – S/RECOG/203/05 dated 07.02.2003. The school was upgraded as a 10 class high school with co-education on the recommendation of the State Govt. vide memo no – S/RECOG/2006/226 dated 07.02.2006 , Index no- I1-191. The institution was given an extension of recognition as a 10 class high school with co-education beyond 30.04.2008 vide memo no – Bir/3417/08/G dated 17.09.2008. then it was extended to continue co-education by the term of extension of recognition beyond 30.04.2011 vide memo no – Bir/960/11/G dated 30.03.2011.

Kabi Nazrul Sikshaniketan High School (H.S.) has been converted into the Govt. Spons. School vide memo no – 936/BIR-21/SE/S/10M-104/14 dated 18.11.2014.

The institution was provided provisional recognition for imparting higher secondary education by vide memo no – DS(Aca)SD/2095/RECOG/2015 dated 11.05.2015, Institution Code (HS) : 115-229 , govt aided co-education. The tenure of recognition as HS school with co-education extended up to June 30 , 2019 vide memo no – 15229/RNRC/03/83/217 dated 06.06.2017. Next, the tenure of recognition as H.S. school with co-education extended up to June 30, 2021 vide memo no- 15229/RNRC/05347/2019 dated 26.07.2019.
