History

The school was established in 1956 by some educationists of the village with a view to provide quality education among the children of the village as well as adjacent villages; as at that time the nearest school was about 6 km from the village. The children had to face great difficulty to go to school and a lions share of the children specially girls left their education in the middle of their way only because of distance. At first it was a junior high school and subsequently it was recognized as high school in 1969 and higher secondary school in 2000. About 1100 students now get their quality education from here with a quite good academic excellency.
