                                                                           History of the school

Our school,Abinashpur Girls High School,was established in the year 1960.It is the only girls school in the Suri-II block.Our school was establish by Abinash Chandra Bandopadhyay.He was very much fond of women education and realized the inportantce of the girls education and give land and fund to establish the institution .The school was started with very few girls in a mud house.Local educated women camp forward to teach the student.Intially ,the school was establish asa class II Junior school.Thereafter the school was conferted as a school IV Junior high school in the year 1966. The school was further upgraded as class X high school by the recommendation of State Government in the year 2000.
