The school is established first on 21st February, 1961 by the villagers----especially inspired by the 'Samanta Raja Family' of Siur. They donated the land and with the help of the villages of Srinidhipur Panchayet the school building constructed. The managing committee paid the teachers a little from their collection from villages. In 1962 it got the affiliation as 2 class junior school.In 1964 it became recognised as a 4 class junior school. In 1973 the school became recognised as X class High school. Presently it is one of the best Higher Secondary School in this Surroundings.
