School History
Our Barasija High School (H.S.) started its journey as a Junior Madrasha in 1921. Hazrat Yusuf, a Sufi saint hailing from Saharanpur in Utter Pradesh, dug its foundation exuding his firm conviction, “Kabhi Nehi Tutega”, which continues to inspire us even today. In 1964 Barasija Junior Madrasha converted to Barasija Fulur Anchal Junior High School (Up to Class VIII). Later in 1968, this Junior High school was upgraded to a High School (Class X standard). The journey of Barasija Fulur Anchal Vidyalaya has never stopped since its inception. The school earned approval from W.B.C.H.S.E. for initiation of Studies in Higher Secondary level with both Arts & Science streams from 2007 -2008 academic session. The School’s Name changed from ‘Barsija Fulur Anchal Vidyalya’ to ‘Barasija High School’ in 2011.
