History

Sarenda Mukundalal Vidyaniketan , situated in the border region of West Bengal and Jharkand , under the jurisdiction of Md Bazar Block in the district of Birbhum of West Bengal has been imparting the light of education since it is inception in 1972.It got its recognition as two class Junior School , four class Junior High School and High School on 01.01.1984, 01.01.1985 and on 01.05.2000 respectively. Now it is a Secondary School having three buildings and a partial boundary wall. Now there are ten Assistant Teachers , one Para-Teacher ,two Non-Teaching Staff and a Headmaster and about 500 students predominated by SC, ST,OBC and Minority Community take part in the Teaching-Learning Process. The MDM scheme has been running well in this institution since the inception of the scheme.
