History

Damrah High School (H.S) is located at Damrah village in Md.Bazar Block in the district of Birbhum in West Bengal. In the last century some persons interested in Education of this locality with an aim to eradicate illiteracy and darkness from the society as well as to bring  the future generation into the light of knowledge established this school. The school initially started its journey in 1964 with the permission to run only two classes V & VI and in 1967 it has been converted into Junior High School from classes V to VIII and then in 2000 the then Junior High School has been converted into Secondary School.Not only that in 2009 the school was permitted to impart 10+2 H.S course with Arts stream.

          The results in Madhyamik and H.S Examination are highly satifactory obtaining great position in block level and sub division level. The school has a glorious track in Games and Sports,cultural and innovative aspects in sub division and district level.
