Passing a long run way Bishnupur High School get it`s form of a new modern formation. By the assistance and intense endeavor of some respectable education lover minded persons and the strong will force of the honorable villagers the School was established in 1949. At the initial period there was only Class - V and subsequently included Class - VI . The School is located in a rural area full of pleasant natural environment sights and about 13 k.m away from Suri Town. The foundation Headmaster of Bishnupur High School was honorable Late Bhairabnath Sarkar and the founder Secretary was honorable Late Anadi Bhusan. In the year 1957 this Institution got Government recognition as a Junior High School as while upgraded to Class VIII level. For a long time this Institution reputedly lightened the people of this area with education as a Junior High School. During it`s Junior High School formation respected Sir Amia Chakraborty glorified the Headmaster post. In 1963 for the proper accommadation, infrastructur and considering all the good aspects related to this Institution, School Education Department approved and upgraded this Institution as asecondary level High School. At that time Sir Batuknath Majumdar glorified The Headmaster post. In spite of having varies facilities this Institution had to undergo some difficulties after the period of Sir Batuknath Majumdar. Present Headmaster Madan mohan Das joined in this Institution on 8.7.2011. The School has upgraded as High Secondary school in the year 2017 and this achievement was the major solution to the acute problem of the Students who had to go along distance for H.S section and at present the School is fully furnished and fluorished.
