History

Kaijuli Hemchandra High School is located in Md Bazar Block in the district of Birbhum in West Bengal at kaijuli Village. In the last Century some persons interested in Education of this locality with an aim to eradicate illiteracy and darkness from the society as well as to bring the common people specially the future generation into the light of knowledge established this school. The small school started its journey in 1934. The unending journey has converted the then small school into today’s one of the biggest and eminent school in the district of Birbhum. Kaijuli Hemchandra high School i.e kaijuli H.C High School (HS) is now an oldest institution having its own tradition and heritage. This school started its journey as X class school in 1942.Started imparting old Higher Secondary Education in 1960. In 1976 new 10+2 H.S Course was introduced with Arts, Science and Commerce streams.

                            Since inception result of this school in Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examinations is highly satisfactory. The school has glorious track in games and sports, cultural and innovative aspects and competitive examinations specially in block and District level. The school students have also shown their abilities in participating several state level co-curricular activities. The school has a library with a full time librarian and Laboratories in Science Subjects and Geography.
