History

The name refers that the school is situated between the two villages-Dhagoria and Uttardaha.Dhagoria Uttadaha Junior High School has a long history.Nearly township is Dubrajpur which has another historical importances.The school is 7 km away from Dubrajpur.Dhagiria's post office is Joplai.Wherein a higher secondary school named Joplai High School runs.Because of increasing population of the locality the society felt need of another educational institution.So,the welk wishers,the enlightened part of the society of the area kept discussing and meeting to set up a new school.Now another problem arose.It was that the villagers of Dhagoria demanded the school to be set up within their own village premises where as the people of Uttardaha insisted to drag the school to their own village.

The rivalry went on for a few years .But finally it resolved in the outstanding diplomacy of some goverment officials and some local teachers and guardians.And the school came into existance at its present figure beside Dhgaria Primary School in the same compound.
