History

The school was started as M.E school form 1940s. Kaliprasanna Bandyopadhyay,  a resident of Nakraconda donated the land for the institution. It was first inaugurated by Makhanlal chattopadhyay, a resident of Ikra gram, Burdwan with help of Dwijapada Acharya, resident of Hazaratpur gram and Mahadeb Das, a resident of Krishnapur gram. The school was established in1953 as Hazaratpur Junior High II class school. It was recognized by WBBSE as seconday school in 1973 and then upgraded to Higher secondary school in 2000.
