The School was recognised 2 class Jr. High School by D.I.S Birbhum . w.e.f 01-01-1956 vide memo no. 262/G Dt 04-02-1956. It was upgraded as 4 class Jr. High School by D.P.I (W.B) Vide memo No. 11070/ses Dt 31-10-1960 w.e.f 01-04-1960 . And the School was upgraded as X Class High School by W.B.B.S.E vide memo No. S/273 Dt 18-04-1980 w.e.f 01-01-1979 . The School came under the salary deficit scheme w.e.f 01-01-1979 as per G.O. No. 2684 ( Edn) Dt 21-12-1978.
