History

The day is no longer remembered by the locals. The time was early January,1970. At that time, Md. Isha Hoque, S. I. of Rampurhat west circle, visited the Panisail primary school. Then he spoke of the need to spread education in this region. He proposed to build a Junior high school in this area. At that time some educators from Dadpur, Panisail, Bataspur and Saipur played a leading role in this work. Notable among them were Anujay Kumar Mondal, Hriday Ranjan Ghosh, Gadhadhar Mondal, Baidyanath Mondal of Bataspur and Abdul Hossain, Abdul Rashid of Dadpur.

                                                                                But it was not possible for these few people to build a school in this area.So the people of all the local villages are called for cooperation. People started to believe that the government wants to build a Jr high school to educate the minority and scheduled caste people in this area.

                                                                                   Finally after many efforts, a Jr high school(2-class) was established in 1972 in the village of Bataspur and the school was named as " Dadpur Bataspur Jr High School".Then in 1979 the school was upgraded to 4- class Jr high school. After a long wait, the school was upgraded to a high school(10-class) in 2015 and the long standing needs of the locals were met. 

                                                                                   The school was converted from government aided school to government sponsored school in 2019.
