Tarapith Road Bamdev Vidyapith started its journey as 2- Class Junior High School on 1st April, 1960,recognised by the WBBSE. First recognised as 4-Class Junior High School with Co-ed on 1st March, 1963. Subsequently the institution upgraded into X- Class High School on 1st January,1965.The School came under salary deficit scheme on 1st May,1972. The institution upgraded into H.S. School,recognised by WBCHSE in the year 2004.
