The School is located on the banks of the Dwaroka river near Tarapith Tara Maa temple in the Sahapur G.P under Rampurhat East Circle under the Birbhum District Primary School Council.
From the very beginning of the establishment of the school, the school first emerged as a '' Organising School''. At that time the school room and houses were made of bamboo and mud and grass was used as the covering of the roof. At the very beginning the number of students was fairly limited. Preliminary the school was organised by the honourable Shri Sanatan Mondal and Shri Gangadhar Das Mahasaya. Later the state government approved the school as a '' Primary School'' in 1975. The date of establishment of the school is 2nd July' 1975 . Mr. Sanatan Mondal is the very first teacher of the school. The school has borne witness to history since its inception
