History

Bishnupur Primary School is one of the oldest school in this area i.e Bishnupur, Birbhum under Rampurhat East Circle. Previously the school was known as 'Pathshala'. The school was established in 1948 just after the Independence. Fanibhushan Pramanick who was an local educationist and social worker of this village donated the land and the school was founded. And also the people of this village came forward to set up a village Pathshala. Gradually the Pathshala was turned into a village school.
