Baswa Balika Vidyalaya is a government sponsored High Schools for girls run by the Managing Committee as per rule. It was established in 1974. The local physician Dr.S.S.Roy with some local enthusiasts,person interesred in education dreamt of establishing a girls school for the development of rural female education. Their dreams came to reality constructing first school building with five rooms with the monetary help and donated land of local people. In 1983 the school recognised by WBBSE as a junior High School(V to VIII) and upgraded as a High School(X) in 2000. The school building gradually developed by the help of SSA, MLA, MPLAD grant.The school serves the huge load of students with good care and guidance in every respect. Students' successive development in all respect is praiseworthy. Although the school is needed more teacher and staff, more land and building and playground.
