Kanaipur Junior High School was Established in the year of 2009. The school is situated at the remote village named Kanaipur under Murarai-I block in the District of Birbhum. At first it had no building and was previously attached with the Kanaipur Primary School and was run by two contractual guest teachers. Then in the year 2011 the school got its first permanent teacher and in the year 2012 the school got its second permanent teacher and also a new building with three rooms. Now it is running by two permanent teachers Sukanta Das(B.A. pass, B.ed) & Sumon Saha (M.Sc., B.ed) and with 119 students for class Five to Eight.
