History

Welcome you all to the Chatra Junior High School. It is a small school with all the probable possibilities. It is situated at a very convenient place, that is near Chatra Railway Station and in front of the Chatra Gram Panchayet. It is established by the Govt. of West Bengal under SSA in 2010. There are three sincere and hard working teachers of whom one is female. There is one well constructed building with four class rooms, one staff room, separate girls and boys washroom,  one  Mid-day-meal kitchen and a store room. Though it lacks a library room there are more than 450 books and TLM of all subjects for students' purposes. Keep faith on us , we will try our level best to fulfill all the requirements of the students. Thank you.
