Brief History: Ramchandrapur Pry. School was founded in 1973. At the very beginning, there was no school building. Study and school activities were taken place at local club house. Later people like Md. Iyasin Ali, Sademan Mondal, Abdul Bari, Asraf Ali, Md. Sattar Sekh (Kandha) came forward and donated land for school building. The very first school building was made of clay and tiles. After 20 years, this raw

building became demolished and the teachers continued to teach in the

nearby garden. After 2 years, in the year 2000, brick-built school building was made with the help of Nandigram Gram Panchayet. In

2002-03 , two more classrooms were added with the help of Sarva

Siksha Abhiyan. Kitchen for Mid-day Meal was built up. Members of

‘Jannat- e- Gulshan’ have been cooking Mid-day Meal. In 2012-13, it was transformed to two-storeyed building with two more classrooms. In 2012, boundary wall and school gate were made up. Girls’ toilet was built up in 2012, now there are 2 boys’ and 2 girls’ toilets in the school.

In 2012, electricity supply got started. In the same year, submersible, as well as water tank (1000 lit) and pipe, got placed for water supply. After retirement of the first Headmaster, Shankarnath Roy, Abdus Sattar took the responsibility of the Headmaster. After his retirement, Motiul

Hoque became the teacher-in-charge and continued his duty till

10.09.2013. On 11.09.2013, Kishore Kumar Das got appointed as the new Headmaster and till now he has been carrying out his duty. Now there are 2 assistant teachers and 2 para-teachers. In 2019, there were

110 students from pre-primary to class- IV, whereas in 2020, there are

136 students. Class-V has been included in 2020.
