History

Radipur Primary School under Nalhati South Circle under Birbhum District was established in 1960 with the sole efforts of the Headmaster Late Krishna Chandra Mandan and the cooperation of the villagers. At first, studies were going on under the tree. Later, the school was built with 3 rooms made of lime and tile bricks. Later, the school was badly damaged in the 2000 flood and a two storied 2 room school was constructed on the side and surrounded by brick walls. To keep the school cool, an evergreen tree was planted on one side of the school which is still there today.
