History

Mitrabhum  High School was established on 1st January 1921 at kurumgram in Ramputrhat  subdivision in the district of birbhum. It was founded by Ananda Gopal Mitra Majumdar on the 6th April 1924. Mr A.K. Fazlul Haque the education minister of Bengalof that time, inaugurated the school building. It was recognised M.P School from 1959 by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and as H.S (XI XII)  school by W.B.C.H.S.E from 21st April 1976 .
