Banior No. 2 primary school is the name of our school which is located at Kabirajpara, a remote section of the village Banior under nalhati 1 block of Birbhum district in West Bengal. It has no glorious past . In the year 1984 when the school was established it had no route to enter the school. Students and teachers had to cross couple of paddy fields through a muddy path. The situation has changed over time and today it is approachable through all weather road. In the year 2015 it has got the 'Nirmal Vidyalaya' award for cleanliness. At present the school uses projector for education purpose. There is a working child cabinet also. Every year a fascinating child cabinet general election is organized by the school using ballot paper.The school has arranged many memorable social awareness programs like road awareness, dengue awareness, raksha Bandhan, tree plantation etc. For couple of times this school was in the news for its innovative work. The school has played a great role in spreading awareness against open defecation in the whole block. All the rules and regulations including CCE are followed here properly.
