History

Parulia Sri Ramkrishna Vidyalaya is a Govt. Sponsored School. It is located at Parulia in the District of Birbhum. It is a very old school and a leading Institute of Jhikodda Gram Panchayet of Mayureswar 1 Block. It was established in 1902 as an unrecognized Institute. The School was first recognized by the District Inspector of School(SE), Birbhum as a 2 Class Junior High School in 1955. The school is also recognized as 4 Class Junior High School in 1955. The school is first recognized as High School (Madhyamik) by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education with effect from 1st January 1966. The school is provisionally recognized as a Higher Secondary (Uccha Madhyamik) by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education in General Stream Courses with Co-education with effect from 2006-2007 Academic Session. Now school running classes from V to XII.
