History

Brahmanbahara High School is a Govt. sponsored school situated at Mayureswar II Dev Block in the district of Birbhum. The school was established in the year 1966. It is situted on Kotasur - Mollarpur pucca road in the village Brahmanbahara. The school is surrounded by green fields, ponds, trees etc in the vicinity of nature. The school tries to draw out inner innate capabilities of the students.

At first the school was a mud built house with a few teachers who offered volunteered service. Then the school was shifted to the roadside with pucca building and Govt. recognition.
