
Radhanagar Primary School was approved by West Bengal Education Department on 22/08/1978 and the foundation of the school was laid on 25/08/1978. It is located in Mayureswar Circle in the district of Birbhum of West Bengal. This school is a government aided school. At first Mahadev Pal and Sridhar Pal donated land to Birbhum District Education Board in 1986 and later Shaktipada Mandal and Kanailal Mandal also donated land in 1995 to Birbhum District Education Board for the establishment of this school. The people of Radhanagar village have worked tirelessly to establish this school. The names of two of them are undeniable. They are Md Makram Ali Saheb and Sajed Ali Saheb. In this school lessons were given from pre-primary to class-IV. Class-V has been included in this school in 2019. At present 141 students are studying in this school and there are 5 teachers to help and assist them. The school aims to provide a healthy and caring environment for all students and to provide child-centered education and appropriate social values.
