History

Bolpur Tarasankar Vidyapith is presently situated at Trisulapatty under bolpur Municipality. Initially in 1972 the school began its journey in the campus of Tarasankar primary school building at Bolpur mission compound area as an organised School from class V to class VIII but remained unapproved by the government due to lack of its own land. The school recognised as a junior High School by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in its memo number S/214, dated 21.03.1984 in the year 1984 only when a generous man Mr. Bimal Chandra Dalal donated a land of 21 satak for erection of school building at Trisulapatty, Bolpur, as a result the school remained uninterrupted and unhindered. At the last, the school recognised as a high School with co-education by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in its Ref. No - S/Recog/200/65 in the year 2000. Afterwards the school is running remarkably and magnificently till date.
