A BRIEF HISTORY OF SAINTHIA PAHARIBABA VIDYAPITH  (H.S)

Sainthia Paharibaba Vidyapith,  an eminent seat of learning and culture has raised in this status from  a humble station. It is the culmination of sincere efforts of some detected persons, educated youth and patrons of educatio.. BRAHMA CHARINI ANUBRATA and her Guru PAHARIBABA came to the forlorn  bank of the river Mayurakshi. They preferred the ideal environment in lap of nature and set up an Ashram  named SHYAMA CHARAN YAGOSHRAM. To ensure the welfare of the people was their main moto and exvoto. 

To materialize this mission,  education of children was a basic need.  So they decided to set up a school here to educate them along with many others social works. Some educated youth came forward and shouldered the Noble job of teaching.  A small school building was set up by the collective effort of all concerned. The school started its journey from - 1972.  With the big pleasure of the people of the locality and got it’s approval by State Education    Department govt.  of West Bengal in 1974.  Gradually it’s name and fame spread far and wide.  Nouber of learners increased day by day.  Later on,  the got it’s Higher Secondary status.  Now the school is running smoothly with a Vocational course,  Computer learning system side by side with it’s normal studies.  All the staff,  the governing body,  the students,  the guardians,  the govt. and the people of the locality are collectively running this big machinery deploying their best effort.
