It’s a school repute in the district of Nadia, not far-off from Krishnagar , the district town noted for clay models and the Palace of Maharaj Krishnachandra , where history speaks volumes of the much –talked of kings. The foundation of this school dates back to 1954. In 1944 it started running as M.E. school. After a decade ,it became known as a two -class Jr. High school in 1954. In 1958, the institution got the sanction of a four-class Jr. High school and in 1963 it got its identity as a X-Class School .. In 1999, it was upgraded to H.S School .The School is christened in the name of Swami Vivekananda and goes by his idea. The number of students studying here is presentable, with Science & Arts stream in H.S. Ex-Student & Villagers contribute significantly to the progress and prosperity of this school.
