HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL:

Dogachhi High School ( H.S ) is a co-educational (10+2 ) Govt. sponsored Higher Secondary Bengali Medium School which is situated in Krishnagar Block-I of Nadia District. The School was established in the year 1960. The School started its journey on 1st April,1960 as a  Junior High School.  Later on the School was upgraded to a Class-X High School in the year 1993 with effect from 01-05-1992. In the Academic session 2009-10,  the School  had been upgraded to a Class-XII Higher Secondary  School. When most of the rural people were living in an atmosphere covered with the darkness of illiteracy, superstition and immense poverty, the community people of this locality thought something different. They donated  acres of land and money to establish an educational institution for a better tomorrow for the children of the villagers. Their efforts, sacrifices and contribution were not in vain. Most of our students come from economically, socially and educationally backward class  families  who  mostly depend on cultivation of land and making hosiery for their livelihood.  Dedicated and devoted teachers along with the non-teaching staff  are one of the most precious assets of this Institution since its beginning.
