History

Kabi Sukanta Siksha Niketan was established in 2001 as a 4-class Junior High School to meet the need of education of more than 16 village students in Joania Panchayat, under Krishnagar-I block, P.S. Kotwali, Nadia. It was up-graded as X-class High School in 2006 and H.S. Arts section was sanctioned by W.B.C.H.S.E. in 2015. Lions share of the enrolment of students is coming from lower middle class SC/ST families. Even without a playground our students are shining in zonal, sub-divisional and district level games.
