History

The cost of initial infrastructure of Govt. Model School, Nakashipara was funded by the Central Government under the scheme of Model English Medium School. But later, the scheme was delinked from the Central Fund. From then on, the school has been being run by the State Government. The School was inaugurated by the then Sabhadhipati of Nadia Zilla Parishad, Mr. Bani Kumar Roy, the District Magistrate of Nadia, Mr. Sumit Gupta and the M.L.A. of Nakashipara, Mr. Kallol Khan whose patronage ultimately materialised the dream of erecting an English medium School in Nakashipara, an educationally and economically backward block to uplift the underpriviledged learners of the locality.
