Taraknagar Ma Maharani High School (HS) is a Co-Educational 10+2 Government Sponsored Higher Secondary Bengali Medium School which is situated in Krishnaganj Block of Nadia District. The School was established in the year 1975. The School started its journey on 6th January 1975 as a Junior High School with classes V to VIII. It got recognition from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education as a Govt aided Junior High School with effect from 01-01-1986. Later on the School was upgraded to a Class-X High School in the year 2006 with effect from 01-01-2005. In the year 2013 the School has been upgraded to a Class-XII Higher Secondary High School.
