History

Natna High School was first set up in 1985 as a Junior High School. The great educationist and freedom fighter Madhabendu Mahanto inspired a group of educated youths to start an organized school to usher the light of education in a village like Natna . Sri Ranjit Kumar Mandal along with his supportive staffs like Sri Sukumar Ghosh, Sri Bhaktaram Ghosh, Sri Debendranath Bhattyacharyya, Sri Kartick Chandra Mandal , Sri Paritosh Mandal and Hayat Ali Shaikh took the grand mission to start up the school .Thousands of villagers of Natna and neighbouring villages came forward and joined hands to welcome education at home. And it was done . The school got its recognition in 1986 . It was approved to secondary school in 2000.and in the year 2009 the school was recognised by the council of higher secondary education.In 2006 the school started the vocational sream for the viii + students and in the next year the same stream for the HS section began.Since the inception the only school of this village has been illuminating near and far with hopes and aspirations.
