History

Palashipara M.G.S Balika Vidyalaya(H.S) was established on 01/03/1961. During the dawn of the Institute, it got permission to run as a 4-class Junior Girl’s High School. The school had a very humble beginning with only 20 students who started taking classes at the hostel of Palashipara M.G.S Vidyapith (H.S) and eventually the school got transferred to its own building on 02/01/1996. The school got upgraded as a Secondary Girl’s High School on 31/03/1979. On 26/06/2010 the school got recognized as a Higher Secondary Institute and to date remains the only Higher Secondary Girls High School in Tehatta Block 2.
