Anjangarh High School (H.S),the Alma mater to thousands from Badkulla and its vicinity,of the Blocks of Ranaghat-1,Santipur and Hanskhali,in the district of Nadia, was established in 1968.The School buildring was erected on a land on the bank of the Tagor-mentioned river ,Anjana,covering 0.37 acres taken on lease for 99 years from the Bengal Farm.Though initially the school was a Junior High School,soon it won the status of a Higher Secondary School,creating no less than 1400 students.The School environment and the academic ambience are equally pleasant.Students enjoy the airy and spacious classroom as much as they do the green turf of the vast ground outside.
