History

Situated in the district of Nadia, within the close proximity of Habibpur rail station Raghabpur High School started its journey in the year 2010 after dealing with several hindrances and turbulent situations. However demand for a high school was a throbbing necessity among the villagers and the local people. With their self-less support and enthusiasm the school started to thrive. Mention should be made of Lt. Madhav Chandra Ghosh whose initiation resulted in the construction of the school building. The school was inaugurated by Sri. Abir Ranjan Biswas the honourable  MLA. He most generously donated a sum of rupees One Lakh to the cause of the School Library.

The academic session started in the year 2012 with a handful of twenty eight students. Mr. Nandalal Sarkar came up with much trust and was liberal enough to get his daughter Mitu Sarkar (our first student) admitted to the school. Sri Sudhir Biswas and Smt Soma Das joined as the first teaching staffs and they both literally began the school to work with the very twenty eight students in a primary school classroom which was most benevolently given by the headmaster of the Raghabpur Primary School.

The school administration was conferred upon the Ad-Hoc Committee under the guidance of the S.I.S Birnagar Circle, Taherpur, Nadia.
