History

School Foundation Date: 28th August 1979.

Recognised as a Junior High in 1984 (V & VI w.e.f. 01.01.1984 and VII & VIII w.e.f. 01.01.1985).by W.B.B.S.E. vide Memo No. S/132 Dt. 28.02.1984

Recognised as High(Secondary) School ( IX w.e.f. 01.01.1986 and Class X w.e.f. 01.01.1987) by W.B.B.S.E. vide Memo No. S/652 Dt. 08.10.1986.

School has-been upgraded to a Higher Secondary School by W.B.C.H.S.E. in 2000 vide Memo no. DS(A)SD/1309/Recog/2000 Dt. 24.06.2000.

School got permission for introduction of Co-education system in H.S. Section by W.B.C.H.S.E. in 2000 Vide Memo No. DS(A)SD/5409/2000 Dt. 27.07.2000

School has been converted into Gonvt. Sponsored School in 2013 vide memo no. 9812/RMSA/SL/5S-264/12 Dt 30.09.2013.

The School come under Salary Deficit Scheme Vide G.O No. 2684-Edn(S) Dt. 21.12.1978
