
Panchberia High School was first conceotualised and founded with a few class rooms made of tin and bamboo on 2nd January 1962 in one bigha land. The land was donated by Late Srish Ch. Ghosh and late Santosh Kr. Ghosh , persons highly interested on education. The other individuals who extended their benevolent hands in founding the school were Late Jamini Kr. Bhatta, Late Surendranath Marik, Late Indubhusan Das, Late Paresh nath Dutta and many more. Primarily the school started its journey with some organising teachers in view of providing basic education to the under privileged children of the rootless people of Panchberia Govt, colony and of the villages around. The school was officially recognised as 4 class jr. high school science the date of foundation by WBBSE. The school started thriving in all field rapidly with the strong leadership of Sri Netaipada Sarkar (Ex. MLA), the founder headmaster of the school. Within 4 years the school was upgraded as X class high school. With the support, assistance and a strong commitment of the members of Managing Committee, teachers, staff. The school developed his volume physically, socially , culturally above all academically. One bigha land flourished into 24 bighas with playground, mango orchard, forestry, children park etc.
