The school is a long cherished desire of the surrounding community and was established by the efforts of people from all walks of life.Mention must be made for the efforts of Sri Nrisingha Prasad Roy and Sri Sisir Kumar Roy who donated the land for the school and building materials.Local people interested in education also came forward hand in hand to donate money for the school.They also visited a fair ground urging people donate money for the school to be built.On the auspicious day of 01.01.1968 the school started with the efforts of some local enthusiasts.We convey our heartiest regard for them.Later the school attracts the attention of the Govt.Of West Bengal and flourished further with the help of Sarva Siksha Aviyan.
