
The School has a long glorious history. Adi Kabi Krittibas Ojha, famous for writting the Ramayana in Bengali, was born in this very Fulia Boyra village, situated in the bank of the holy river The Ganga. In the begining of the 20th Century, some local people had planned to observe the birth anniversary of this famous poet. In 1916 . The great poet Rabindranath Tagore and Vice Chancelor of Calcutta University Sir Ashutosh Mukherjee were invited in this programme. Owing the illness, Kabi Guru could not attend the programme, but the Banglar Bagh Sir Ashotosh Mukherjee visited the Fulia Boyra village. Sir Ashutosh Mukherjee inaugurated the Krittibas School in the year 1916. But no writting documents are available in the School office. The School was upgraded to secondary School in 1948 and the first batch of Matriculation examination appeared in 1949 under Calcutta University. So after Independance the School started its journey with full vigour and vitality. In the year 2010 Fulia Krittibas Smriti Vidyalaya was upgraded to Higher Secondary School. Now it has been running with full swing.
