
Fulia Vidyamandir (H.S.) is one of the higher secondary schools of Fulia, Nadia in the state of West Bengal, India teaching grades 5 to 12 under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. This co-education school started her journey on and from the 15th January, 1981 as a Bengali medium school. Teaching - learning process was conducted in the classrooms of another school Fulia Sikshaniketan (H.S.) in the morning at 7:00 a.m. and continued to 10:30 a.m. There were only 342 to students at that time. Then the school had grown into a Junior High School on January 1, 1985 and upgraded into a High school on January 1, 1986. The school got 2 acres land totally free of cost in fulia township in 1987 from the-then government for the construction of her own building and the construction was started in 1991 with the financial help of the Nadia Zilla Parishad, M.P. fund, the guardians, the local people and above all, the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school. The school got the affiliation of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education in 2002 and started only the arts faculty in Higher Secondary level. At present this 2 storeyed building has total 22 rooms, mid day meal dining hall, cycle garage and toilet. There are 32 teachers and 3 non-teaching staff in this school. Students of this school appeared in the Madhyamik Pariksha in 1988 and Higher Secondary Examination in 2004 for the first time. The rate of pass out in Madhyamik Pariksha and Higher Secondary Examination is quite satisfactory.
