Charsarati Kendriya High School (H.S.) started her solemn journey as a junior high school on 22nd February 1960 with only 12 students. Now the school is H.S. one. The temple of learning stands on the bank of the sacred Ganga three(3) kms away from kalyani township. The school is surrounded by the trees, hubs and green fields.Mother Nature has given a panoramic beauty to the school.the school is the symbol of hope and aspiration of the people of charsarati,Birpara,Ganga-Manoharpur and adjoining specially of Late DR.P.K.Das ,Late Kalipada Ghosh,Late Makhan Lal Majumder,Late Digendra Chandra Ray,Nilkamal Mondal and some other great hearts .At the beginning the school started with only a small house but now she possess two three stored building with a big kitchen for the Mid-Day Meal and a Hostel for the students .There are more than 500 students and 25 staff in the General and Vocational Stream. The Vocational all stream was opened in 2006 in both VIII+ and X+2 levels.
Along with academic performances, there are ample opportunities of Games and sports. So many boys and girls took part in the state level games and sports. The girls volley ball team of the school became champion in the state level twice. In the year 2010 the school completed her 50 year journey and the Golden jubilee was celebrated on the 22nd February,2010. Now, the school is on progress.
