
NIMTALA RAMESH CHANDRA BALIKA VIDYALAYA a unique institute of knowledge and learning was established by Shri Ramesh Chandra Das in the year 1982. Shri Das, a local zamindar and a social activist donated 66 satak of land for this nobel cause.He realized the dire scarcity of a girls institution in the locality and was determined to set up a girl's school in his land.The mission of the school was to provide students with a quality, independant education that focussed on activity learning,a commitment to the environment,dedication to school local communities and nuture the students to become dedicated citizens.Though the founder pursued his dream project with lot of hard work and determination the task was not an easy one. The entreprenuer had to face huge challenges and obstacles, local hindrances came, but they were tackled in time.He appointed six teachers and a non teaching staff and all of them fought a long legal battle until in 1989 the school gained Govt. Affiliation and Recognition.
