History

Our Institution is situated at heart of Ranaghat Municipality town, Nadia District, in West Bengal .

That one Boys’ School, named and styled as Lalgopal High School, was established, at Ranaghat town in the year of 1926, for English education in British regime.

After Independence, considering need of growing society, a Girls’ Institution also opened in the said School, in the year of 1956, which acquired recognition from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in 1957, and firstly it was upgraded to High School (Class X) in 1959, then it was further upgraded to Higher Secondary School in Arts Section (Class XI/XII) in the year of 2002 (science education of such girls students has not yet been opened in spite of our regular Endeavour).

That from its inception, Boys and Girls, was running in same building / premises by shifting wise, as our Girls Section used to run in morning and Boys School at day shift.
