History

Durganagar Bipin Bihari Vidyapith (H.S), (ESTD. 1953) is a Government sponsored higher secondary school situated at Chakdaha, Dist. Nadia in West Bengal. This is a co-educational school affiliated to WBBSE, WBCHSE & WBSCVET.

Along with the regular academic curriculum the school also offers skill oriented subjects like ITES, Retail & Marketing and Tailoring.

The school has a dedicated workforce of 35 duly approved teaching and non-teaching staff along with the mid-day meal staff to cater the needs of our students.

Our students mainly come from the less privileged socio-economic background and we are committed to impart quality education to them with the aim to develop them as future citizens with democratic outlook and fellow feeling as well as to help them achieve the ability to contribute to their society.

As the 'chalk and talk method' is slowly waning, giving place to digitisation, we have decided to adopt contemporary and advanced digital classrooms to impart modern and joyful teaching-learning experience.

We believe in the holistic approach of education. In recent times we have initiated a gymnasium in our school. We have incorporated creativity based joyful open classes in our school- routine to give our pupils a scope of all round development, a taste of life outside the domain of text books.
